With just two and a bit weeks to go until the Kaikoura Seafood Festival, we ‘d like to post a wee reminder about it.
Did you know that Kaikoura literally means “eat crayfish”? Well here is your chance to do just that and more. Taking place on Canterbury coast, Kairoura Seafest is an annual festival celebrating scrumptious local produce, breathtaking scenery and good times – rain, hail or shine.
The Old Mout Cider Team will be there too, offering all five variants (including the new Pear Scrumpy) for sale by the glass.
Dress to impress as the locals pull out all the stops to make this a day to remember. They often dress for the occasion.. so don’t be surprised to see mermaid and pirates walking around nibbling on paua fritters!
Get your tickets now from here, if you haven’t already. Past events are known to sell out!
Kaikoura Seafood Festival is on 1st October 2011 from 10am to 5pm.
